  • What you'll do

    As a Billtrust Team Lead, you will be a player/coach on the Account Development team.  As a “player”, you will be assisting our Regional Sales Executives by cultivating leads and selling Billtrust product suites to businesses by identifying and qualifying new prospects.  As a “coach”, you will assist a Manager(s) of Account Development by providing effective guidance to your fellow team members. In collaboration with Account Development Leadership, you will help supervise and motivate team members on a daily basis.

     

    This position will provide you with a foundation for a successful Sales Executive or Account Development leadership position at Billtrust.

    What you'll bring to the team

    • As a team lead, you will be another leader and resource for team members to access, so your communication skills should be excellent
    • Must have the ability to support and effectively communicate Billtrust and Account Development initiatives to your fellow team members
    • Supports team manager and performs management duties when manager is absent or out of office
    • Participate in the interview process of external Account Development candidates and share feedback with the Account Development Hiring Manager and Hiring Team..
    • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales and activity quotas in an Account Development role for a minimum of 12 months.
    • Previously served as a mentor to fellow team members on the Account Development team
    • Ability to independently and/or collaboratively develop critical training programs, contests, and lead group discussions in order to close performance gaps of the Account Developments team
    • Excellent active listening skills with well-honed ability to engage prospects during your calls
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to create and deliver remarkable messaging during your prospecting efforts
    • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint) in order to effectively create documents and messaging content
    • Proficient in Google Applications (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets) 
    • Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce (Dashboards, Report, Task Management)
    • Comprehensive understanding of Salesloft with the ability to create, execute, and drive cadences to completion
