  • What you'll do


    As the Manager of Customer Sales you will manage a group of talented Account Managers who sell additional Billtrust products and solutions to current customers.  In addition to sales, your team of Account Managers will provide consultative advice to customers on best practices and are the customer’s internal advocate to ensure high satisfaction.  Increased sales and customer satisfaction are achieved through frequent successful account review meetings in-person or virtually. Your ability to empower the team through effective and hands-on sales process training and mentoring will be a critical factor to success.


    What you’ll do:

    • Expand the use of Billtrust's solutions within your customers’ organizations by ensuring optimization of features and services. This is measured by performance against your annual revenue goal
    • Enhance customer satisfaction levels by understanding their strategic goals and helping them optimize results from their currently-licensed services. This is measured by annual increase in Net Promoter Score
    • Travel of 4-6 nights per month to join your team at customer on-sites; provide hands-on coaching and consultation during visits
    • Proactively manage a growing team of 4 to 8 sales professionals
    • Drive strategy throughout the team to ensure that we are maximizing the revenue within our customer base
    • Accurately manage the weekly forecast for the region and participate in weekly forecast calls
    • Help drive deal flow and manage team activities and progress through a common set of operating metrics managed via our sales technology stack
    • Create an environment of accountability and learning through your leadership skills
    • Cooperate with marketing department to help generate new ideas and thought leadership
    • Interface and provide feedback for other areas within Billtrust such as product implementations and customer service among others


    What you'll bring to the team

    • Minimum of five years of experience successfully selling software solutions into enterprise or mid-market customers
    • Has successfully led sales teams and partnered with training to drive product knowledge and behaviors that lead to consistent over-quota performance
    • Recent experience in successfully “farming” current customers to generate revenue from existing clients
    • Quickly learns complex solutions in order to communicate their advantages to clients
    • Successfully applied excellent communication skills to work with a wide variety of technical and business contacts/partners internally and externally  
    • Highly consultative sales style and a deep commitment to client satisfaction
    • Utilized account reviews, on-site visits and webinars to engage clients and drive customer satisfaction
    • Knowledge of B2B invoice to cash process is a plus
