    What you'll do

    As an Associate UX Designer you will represent the UX Team to the Billtrust community, and learn to help with our team’s product designs and user research efforts. You will work with senior designers on projects and learn how to take well-framed problems and generate feasible ideas, explain the rationale, and learn to execute with support from other senior designers. In addition, you will take an active interest in understanding the vision and objectives for your team. You will learn what work will be needed to support that vision, and how to fit your ideas into the bigger picture. As an Associate UX Designer you will learn the Billtrust design process and should demonstrate an interest in supporting the Billtrust design principles and values.


    • Create interactive prototypes that illustrate your solutions to user and product problems
    • Present your solutions and concepts to the Product, UX and Engineerin team members
    • Collaborate on user research activities like usability tests, and findins presentations
    • Help our small UX team define the UX processes and design system for Billtrust

    What you'll bring to the team

    • A strong portfolio that showcases your design and research skills


    • You have the ability to create multi-step and cross-platform flows at a basic level
    • Understand the basics of sketching and wireframing simple features and user journeys
    • Know the basic ideas around designing for potential states (errors, successes, dead-ends)
    • An ability to create interactive prototypes would be helpful


    • Undersatnding of basic practices of conducting research and testing
    • Have the ability to define the basics of qualitative and quantitative data
    • You show an intereset in synthesizing research findings and sharing them with your team


    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work well in a reciprocal team environment
    • You can manage workload to meet deadlines
    • Have the ability to identify problems or inefficiencies and propose solutions
    • Demonstrate your passion for interaction design & learning about users and their problems, and share that passion with your team members
