    What you'll do

    As the Content Marketer, you will play a key role in driving strategic marketing efforts for campaign development and deployment. You will innovate and optimize the development of content and campaigns while ensuring alignment with the strategic brand business goals. You are the central point of communication between the revenue management and product marketing teams, and the strategic marketing partners and the creative talent driving outside agencies and all other Billtrust departments. You will drive content and campaigns through all major stages of development including authoring of content, defining scope of work, and driving concept, writing, design, production, and publishing of assets that align to campaigns designed to drive leads, accelerate progress through the funnel and cross-sell-upsell to clients.

    • Collaborate across multiple teams and experts to ensure development of a complete library of assets with the right mix of content types based on customer/buyer journey and personas
    • Simultaneously act as writer, editor, producer, and publisher to create engaging content across channels (digital, social media, email, etc.)
    • Develop and executes project management plans to ensure content is delivered on time, on budget, and on specification
    • Plan content calendar along with social media and program manager teammates; create editorial verticals and series that engage and grow our audience
    • Manage projects with internal resources and external agencies
    • Identify, communicate, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies and metrics across a cross-functional project team
    • Proactively seek examples, insights, and data which furthers understanding of how to tune assets to ensure they produce the metrics we are looking to achieve
    • Track and report on key performance metrics of campaigns to various stakeholders

    What you'll bring to the team

    • Driven, detail-oriented and calm under pressure
    • Experienced in business writing (blogs, articles, press releases, case studies, etc.)
    • Skilled, persuasive communicator
    • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2+ years of related experience
    • Experience working closely with planning and creative functions to deliver amazing content
    • Excellent time management skills with an eye for detail and forward thinking mind set
    • Ability to prioritize & meet deadlines
